# Neomatter

> Neomatter is AI for in-house legal teams. It picks up legal requests from email, Slack and Microsoft Teams, prepares the analysis, redline and reply, and a lawyer makes the call. Neomatter is built by Lightfield, Inc. (formerly known as Lightfield), a Y Combinator company based in San Francisco.

Neomatter is not affiliated with the Twitch and YouTube streamer of the same name or with neomatter.co.

## How it works

- Picks up every request: requests arrive in Slack, Teams, Gmail or Outlook, and Neomatter opens a matter for each one with the message and every attachment. No forms and no forwarding.
- Does the work: it reads the documents, checks the team's playbook and past deals, and writes the analysis, the recommendation and the reply, with a citation on every point.
- Brings you the decision: when something needs judgment, it lays out the options and recommends one. Neomatter never sends anything on its own; a lawyer presses Send.
- Playbooks: it learns a team's standard positions, fallbacks, approvers and walk-away points from signed agreements, and nothing in a playbook changes until the team approves it.
- Docket: every open matter, its owner and what it is waiting on, kept up to date.
- Integrations: Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Slack for requests; Salesforce, Ironclad, ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, HubSpot and Airtable for context.

## Security

- SOC 2 Type I, audited by a licensed CPA firm.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Customer data is never used to train public or third-party models.
- Every request is scoped to the customer's organization.
